1st IFCAI Webinar – (16th Biennial Conference, 2022)

The Wind of Reforms of Major Institutional Rules: IFCAI’s First Webinar Conference and 16th Biennial Conference featuring BCDR, CAM, ICC, ICDR-AAA, LCIA, MIAC, SCC, SIAC and the Swiss Centre

IFCAI’s First Webinar Conference entitled: “The Wind of Reforms of Major Institutional Rules”, will feature some of the world main arbitration institutions, and key-speakers delivering interventions on the insertion, conduct and implementation of some of the latest innovations in the field of arbitration and the reform of their institutional rules.

Stefano Azzali, the President of IFCAI and Director General of the Milan Chamber of Arbitration (CAM), will be moderating the first session and delivering the Closing Remarks, accompanied by Ismail Selim, Secretary-Treasurer of IFCAI and Director of the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA), for the Opening Remarks, IFCAI’s latest Member, the Madrid International Arbitration Centre (MIAC), whose President, José Antonio Cainzos, will be moderating session two and IFCAI Council Member, and President of the Association for the Promotion of Arbitration in Africa (APAA) Gaston Kenfack for the Closing Remarks.

The Webinar-Conference is bound to feature some of the most influential figures of arbitration, including Secretary Generals, Presidents, Counsels and SVPs of some ICC, BCDR, SIAC, Swiss Centre, SCC, LCIA, CAM, HKIAC, ICDR-AAA most prominent of arbitral institutions worldwide.

The event is hosted by the Federation and co-organised by the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA), whose reform of its institutional rules is close to enactment. IFCAI’s First Webinar will feature a short format to take place on 7 February 2022, from 2:00 to 5:15PM CET.
